  • TWO SIZES, ONE TREE — A 15.7"×9" board for daily prep and an 18"×11" board for roasts, bread and serving. Each is cut from a single unbroken piece of camphor laurel, so there are no glue lines to split and no two boards alike.
  • HANDMADE IN AUSTRALIA, AIR-DRIED 12+ MONTHS — Shaped and finished by hand in our Sydney workshop. Slow air-drying before shaping is what keeps a solid board stable instead of warping or cracking in a heated kitchen.
  • RESISTS STAINS AND ODOURS — Camphor laurel's dense grain doesn't hold onto garlic, onion or fish the way softer timbers do. The wood carries a faint clean scent of its own that fades with use and does not transfer to food.
  • READY TO GIVE, READY TO USE — Includes two matching timber display stands and a 100ml bottle of NSF H1 food-grade mineral oil, so the set arrives complete and stands on the bench instead of hiding in a drawer.
  • A BOARD THAT LASTS DECADES — Hand wash, dry upright, and re-oil monthly with the included oil. Knife marks sand out; the timber only deepens in colour. Not dishwasher safe, because nothing solid wood ever is.
